Plant & Ground Personnel
Plant Support Close to the Operation.
Ground-level plant support matters because the people closest to the equipment often see changes first. ROC's plant and ground roles are built around awareness, communication and practical support within defined site responsibilities.
Role Purpose
Plant and ground personnel provide direct support around the production system, helping maintain awareness, cleanliness, communication and operating support at ground level.
Typical Responsibilities
Responsibilities depend on the plant, role, project and client procedures.
- observe plant condition;
- monitor spillage;
- support cleanup;
- communicate visible issues;
- assist plant operators;
- support maintenance activity within assigned role;
- maintain work areas;
- participate in inspections;
- follow site-specific safe work procedures.
Experience at Plant Level
Specific experience helps define role fit. Useful details include:
- What crushing / screening plants have you worked around?
- What were your normal ground duties?
- What equipment or systems were you expected to inspect?
- What types of operating issues were you expected to report?
- Did you assist during shutdowns?
- Did you perform cleanup around conveyors or transfer areas?
- Did you operate equipment as part of the role?
- What safety procedures were central to the work?
- Who supervised you?
- Who can verify the experience?
Defined Site Responsibilities
Ground support does not automatically include crusher or heavy-equipment operation. Relevant skills and site permissions should be assessed for each person and project.
