For Workers

Your Experience Is More Than a Job Title.

Crusher operators, heavy-equipment operators, plant personnel and frontline supervisors can bring very different experience to a project. The equipment you've worked with, the responsibilities you carried, and the settings you know help describe that background more clearly than a title on its own.

ROC Workforce invites people with relevant industrial experience to describe their work through the Join ROC profile form. Submitting a profile is an expression of interest, not an application to a guaranteed open position or a promise of work.

01 / Tell Us What You Actually Operated

A useful profile identifies the machine or part of the process you operated, rather than only the surrounding worksite. If your experience includes crushers, screens, loaders, excavators, conveyors, process monitoring or site supervision, describe which duties were yours and how recently you performed them.

Not every position calls for the same equipment or level of responsibility. An honest description of your background is more useful than a broad claim that you can operate any equipment.

02 / Experience Includes the Environment

Where you worked can matter. Mobile spreads, fixed facilities, aggregate pits, mines, civil projects and remote sites may involve different operating arrangements and crew structures.

Describe the kinds of sites you know, the work patterns you have experience with, and whether you're open to travel or rotational assignments. Do not list a qualification, ticket or authorization you do not hold.

03 / Make Your Profile Useful

Try to include:

  • Your primary role and any closely related duties you have performed.
  • Equipment and process experience, naming specific systems when you know them.
  • Recent work history, with approximate dates and the setting where you worked.
  • Leadership experience, if you were formally responsible for a crew or operation.
  • Availability and location, including travel and rotation preferences.
  • Relevant training and tickets, where applicable and accurately held.

You can attach a résumé to the Join ROC form in PDF, DOC or DOCX format, up to 5 MB. Do not upload identification documents, financial details or medical records. See the Operator Experience Profile Guide for more detailed prompts.

04 / What Happens After You Submit?

The Join ROC form collects your profile so ROC can consider it in relation to potential future workforce discussions. It does not establish an employment relationship, indicate a currently available position or guarantee that you will be contacted.

Site approvals, training, authorizations and actual work arrangements depend on the specific position and project. Safety & Workforce Standards explains the distinction between experience and site requirements.

05 / Tell ROC About Your Work

If you know the work, help ROC understand where your experience fits. Begin with what you've actually done, where and when, then describe what kind of opportunities you want considered for.
